What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? To me, the Eagle Scout Award is a recognition of all of my hard work, and the years of learning what it truly means to be a Boy Scout. It is a recognition that I have lived and practiced the Scout Oath and Law and is one of the greatest that I have ever received.

How did earning the Eagle Scout rank prepare you for the future? Earning the rank of Eagle has taught me a lot about hard work, and how to keep pursuing a goal despite challenges. These lessons will serve me well both in college and out in the real world.

What surprised you about the Eagle Scout path? Looking back, what surprised me is how much I have grown, both as a person and as a leader. My 12 years in Scouting, that eventually lead me down the path of the Eagle, has truly shaped me into the person I am today.
