Eagle Project Location: St. Mary’s Catholic School in East Dubuque, Illinois
Eagle Project Description: Tanner constructed an obstacle course at St. Mary’s School in East Dubuque. He installed a set of 5 jump pads that are staked into the ground, a wall that has a 12-inch layer of mulch below it, a 10-foot tube and a series of 3 balance beams, all with a minimum of 6-inches of mulch to soften the impact of falling.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that I have proven myself to be a hard working individual who is determined to achieve his goals.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? It helped me develop various skills like leadership, dependability, and a good work ethic, all of which can help me succeed in life.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? Don’t be afraid to ask for help, no one in life will succeed by working alone.
