What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? For me, the rank of Eagle Scout is an award that means you made it to the top and not much else, but the rank is held so highly that it is what good you choose to do with it and use it for, that makes you an actual Eagle Scout worthy of the name.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? Earning Eagle Scout has given me a foot in the door for when I complete college and look into my career in being an Environmental Engineer.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? Keep striving to take yourself as far as you can in Scouting and you will have an experience in life that you’ll never forget, and make sure to get your required merit badges done early in Scouting but always have fun while you do it first.

Please share a favorite Scouting memory. One of my favorite memories was a camp out at Key West Sportsman’s Club and it was the end of the day so some of us gathered at the bar and broke out the cards and chips and played blackjack while drinking coffee and cracking jokes. We lost track of time so much it was 1:00 am before we realized it and went to sleep
