Eagle Project Location: Whitewater Canyon, Swiss Valley Nature Center, and John Deere Proving Grounds in Dubuque County, Iowa.

Eagle Project Description: Sam built and hung seven kestrel houses in trees at Whitewater Canyon, Swiss Valley Nature Center, and John Deere Proving Grounds. The houses provide a safe refuge for kestrels, helping to ensure their survival.

What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that it is now my duty to serve others and help out my community in whatever way possible.

If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why? Great. Since I enjoyed it.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? Earning the Eagle Scout rank prepared me for the future because I learned skills through Scouts that can help me out in my career.

By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people? I learned how to direct and motivate others.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? My advice is to work hard.
