Eagle Project Location: Pike Peak State Park in McGregor, Iowa
Eagle Project Description: Joseph completed trail maintenance at Pikes Peak State Park. The stairway trail had become eroded and hazardous. Joseph led volunteers in the process of replacing and tamping down limestone on each step.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that I am a leader and role model.
If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why? Humbling. I leaned that you are never too old to have fun.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? Earning the Eagle Scout rank taught me a lot of valuable lessons that will help throughout my life.
By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people? I learned that it is a lot harder than I originally thought.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? My advice is to stick with it.
Please share a favorite Scouting memory. My favorite Scouting memory is when we were cleaning at camp and found an old tractor tire. My friends then rolled me down the hill in it.
