Eagle Project Location: Irving Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa

Eagle Project Description: Ethan planted three shade trees at Irving Elementary School. He worked with the groundskeeper to choose placement, type, and disease resistant trees that would best provide much needed shade to school children.

What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means to do your duty, listen to others, and help when able to.

If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why? Amazing. Because of all the fun there is to have.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? Earning the Eagle Scout rank prepared me for the future by helping me realize how much work you have to put in to achieve what you want.

By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people? I learned that you have to be clear about what they need to do and also be able to help them if they need it.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? My advice is to stick with it because it will feel amazing when you finally get your Eagle.
