What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that I have achieved something, and have done something that very few people do. It means I have dedicated a large portion of my life to achieve one goal.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? Earning the rank of Eagle Scout has exposed me to many scenarios and experiences that revolve around problem solving and leadership. These experiences have equipped me with valuable skills to be successful in the future.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? If a Scout wishes to attain the rank of Eagle, they will find it to their advantage to start early. Completing an Eagle Scout project is a large and daunting task, but you just have to take little steps to get started, and before you know it, the ball will be rolling, and significant progress will be made. Start early, start with little steps, and continue to move forward and make progress.
Please share a favorite Scouting memory. My favorite memory in Scouts has to be the most recent time that I went to a Wilderness Survival camp out. The whole weekend was a great time. The weather was great, the camp out was at my favorite location, and my Troop members and I developed our wilderness survival skills. The time I spent with my troop that weekend was quite memorable, and I will always cherish the memories made.
