Eagle Project Location: Lincoln Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa
Eagle Project Description: Owen constructed an ADA compliant gaga ball pit at Lincoln Elementary School in Dubuque. Panels were put together using wood planks and aluminum brackets. Installed an ADA approved doorway to ensure access to all.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you?
It means being responsible and being able to adapt.
If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why?
Adventure. Going places and doing things out of my comfort zone is what Scouting is about.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future?
Earning the rank gave me valuable life skills and taught me discipline and responsibility.
By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people?
I learned how to be a better leader and how to manage people, materials, and money.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts?
Perseverance and get your merit badges done.

At Philmont, our donkey was very slow, and the 2nd day we had him, he faked an injury (pretty sure) to get out of walking with us.
