Steel siding, a steel roof, soffit, and facia was added to complete the structure. The group also helped to fill the shed with firewood. The shed will provide dry storage of wood and tools at the facility.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you?
It means that I am a part of very few to get this rank. It means that I have put a lot of time and effort into getting here.
If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why?
I would say adventurous. It was a constant journey.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future?
Prepared me by getting me more comfortable with communication and leading.
By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people?
Teamwork means everything.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts?
Try everything and get out of your comfort zone.
Please share a favorite Scouting memory.
Our troop did the red flannel and we had made our own shelters. During one of the red flannels we had woke up to a blizzard. We then had to get dug out by someone neighboring where we were camping.
