Dellaykee District Award of Merit 2015
Alena Toberman began her service to Scouting 6 years ago as a Webelos Den Leader. As the Webelos transitioned to the Scout troop, she registered and became an active Assistant Scoutmaster. She still helps the pack with their pinewood derby each year, even though her primary Scouting involvement is now with the Boy Scouts.
Alena’s involvement has expanded to the District. She has served as District Training Chair, and then to District Commissioner. As District Commissioner, she has worked diligently to find unit commissioners for units in the district. She is also busy planning the 2016 Spring Camporee, as she is serving as chair for that event.
Outside of her Scouting involvement, Alena actively serves on the Safety Committee at her workplace, and also serves as an Emergency Medical Technician.
