Eagle Project Location: Sportsman’s Club in Dyersville, Iowa
Eagle Project Description: Austin put together and installed an “up-cycled” playset at the Dyersville Sportsman’s Club that was salvaged from the City of Dyersville Park. The playset is bordered by railroad ties that hold mulch. He also built two benches for the site.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means showing others what can be done with lots of effort and putting your mind to it.
How did earning the Eagle Scout rank prepare you for the future? Earning the Eagle rank taught me how to prepare things and be ready for the unexpected.
What surprised you about the Eagle Scout path? I was surprised by all of the congratulations from government officials.
