Eagle Project Location: St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Dubuque, Iowa
Eagle Project Description: Benjamin built a raised wooden garden bed between St. Luke’s UMC and the church’s parsonage in Dubuque. The church’s use for the garden will be to use what’s grown for the free meal they do on Saturday nights.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that you truly earned the title. That through all the struggles that it took to get to this point, you have shown leadership, hard work, and discipline.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? I feel that I am better prepared to for the future and whatever it my bring.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? Do it. Even though it will be frustrating and even tedious at times, overall it will be worth it.
