What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you?
Being a leader, and helping others on their own path to become leaders in their own right.

If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why?
NYLT. It was a major experience for me, and it is the main reason I became an Eagle Scout.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future?
It taught me how to manage and lead. It showed me how to work with others.

By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people?
It’s a lot harder than it looks. You need to be able to plan and to actually get the work done.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts?
My advice is take the NYLT course. It’ll give you the lessons you need in order to become an Eagle Scout. Other than that, always learn.

Please share a favorite Scouting memory.
Being a Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) and leading my troop. It was the final test of my leadership capabilities. I learned even more as an SPL.
