What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you?
Years of hard work paying off and a feeling of satisfaction.
If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why?
Knowledge. Because the entire time you’re in Scouting you’re constantly learning and experiencing.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future?
It prepared me by showing that I can work hard and achieve big things and also showing that I have experience.
By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people?
It isn’t as easy as it looks, but you learn how to handle a lot of different situations and how to break them down and problem solve.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts?
If you stick with it, it’s worth it for all the good things that come with it and all the things you learn and acquaintances made over the years.
Please share a favorite Scouting memory.
During an Aqua Olympics event in 2019, our troop was involved in a sink the canoe battle and our troop ended up winning the whole thing using only water pitchers.
