Eagle Project Location: St. Joseph the Worker Childcare Center in Dubuque, Iowa

Eagle Project Description: Jacob built two large painted picnic tables and a small painted wooden sandbox with a covered lid, a 6’x6′ play wooden stage platform, a 4’x4′ framed pained outdoor chalkboard; built and painted a small kid’s wooden picnic table, a music wall and a rock slide structure for St. Joseph the Worker Childcare Center in Dubuque. Lastly, he put a coat of wood sealant on an existing gazebo.

What is your proudest achievement on your path to becoming an Eagle Scout? My proudest achievement was earning the respect of the people above me.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? It prepared me by allowing me to learn leadership skills that I can apply to everyday living or future careers.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? Never give up while along the path of achieving your goals. Take it step by step.
