What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that you are dedicated and involved in the community. You hold yourself to a higher standard and help others when you can. You try to bring your best self to everything.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? It’s made me realize the responsibilities of leadership. As in, you have to communicate and have initiative. Along the way, I’ve learned certain skills and have learned more about citizenship.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? Stay focused and keep working. Some progress is better than no progress. You fail to do something correctly, push past it, and use it as a lesson for the next time.

Please share a favorite Scouting memory. At summer camp in C.S. Klaus, they taught the exploration merit badge. The final part of it, we went on a hike to the Ice Cave there. It was tiresome, but overall a good experience. We got to see some beautiful sights together.
