What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? Being an Eagle Scout means that the person has been through leadership positions and is willing to stand up and take action when it is needed.

If you had to describe your entire Scouting experience with just one word, what word would you choose? Why? Journey. You have ups and downs and get to meet people on the way.

How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? Earning the Eagle Scout rank prepared me for the future because I am more confident in the things that need to be done.

By doing your Eagle Service Project, what did you learn about managing or leading people? I learned that to be a good leader, you have to get your hands dirty with your crew.

What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? My advice is just do it. It may be hard but it is worth it in the end.

Please share a favorite Scouting memory. My favorite memory is when our crew went to Island Royal to go backpacking. Best part of it is when you’re done hiking for 13 miles with 50 pounds on your back and have a nice swim in the cool lake (Lake Superior).
