Eagle Project Location: Cloie Creek Park in Asbury, Iowa
Eagle Project Description: Tyler landscaped around the new pump house in Cloie Creek Park. He also planted 30 trees (23 along the property line and 7 throughout the park) to give the surrounding neighborhoods some privacy.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? It’s one of the largest accomplishments in my life and will always be very proud of it.
How did earning the rank prepare you for the future? It taught me a lot about planning and being prepared. It was my first taste of the real world.
What advice would you give to younger Scouts who aspire to become Eagle Scouts? Stay involved. Go camping, go to summer camp and canoeing, do those things with your Troop and have fun.
Please share a favorite Scouting memory. Having a snowball fight at Camp Burton and going to Boundary Waters with my father.
