Troop: 40 Eagle Project Location: St. John’s Cemetery in Guttenberg, Iowa Eagle Project: Dominique cleaned headstones at St. John’s Cemetery. Volunteers used a D/2 biological solution and soft bristled brushes to remove mold, mildew, algae, and bird droppings from headstones. The group also painted a weathered bench for those visiting the cemetery.

To honor deceased Eagle Scout Carl Runde whose project once stood in its place. The rotted pavilion and picnic table were removed, steel base plates were installed, and a new pavilion was raised.
